Morston Hall

Morston Hall is a country house hotel located in the village of Morston in Norfolk, England. The hall is set in 12 acres (49,000 m²) of gardens and parkland.
Morston Hall is a grade II* listed building. It was built in 1620 for Sir John Hobart, Lord Chief Justice of England, and has been the home of the Bacon family since 1738. The hall is built of red brick with stone dressings and has a hipped roof. It is in three storeys with a seven-bay frontage.
The hall was extended to the rear in 1740, and again in 1820 when a two-storey extension was added. In 1856, a fire destroyed the north wing of the hall and this was rebuilt in 1858.
The hall is open to the public for afternoon tea which is served in the dining room. The cost of afternoon tea is £25 per person. The hall is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:00am to 11:30am.
